Pillatre History

Church Life in 1978

The church at Pillatre, Haiti was started by Emmanuel (Manno) Laguerre in 1978 in an 12 ft. by 20 ft. stick hut. The following year, Manno went to the US to study at Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN. Upon his graduation in 1984, he returned to pick up where he left off at Pillatre.

Church Life Today

Today, over 500 people attend weekly and the multi-purpose building is becoming too small to accommodate everyone.
New church building – we are in the process of building a new church building, with a sanctuary that will seat 1000 people.

Most importantly, lives are being changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ at Pillatre Christian Center Church. People are being freed from spiritual bondage and growing in their faith in Christ.
